Misconduct reports, process changed to make reporting easier

If you need to self-report an issue, you should use our new form. The form can be found under the 'How to make a report to us' section of the webpage.

This new form helps anyone to report a solicitor or firm to us. It will also help those unsure of who they need to approach decide if we are the right organisation for them to contact.

We want to make sure that individuals can make informed decisions upfront about the route they want or need to take. For example, we do not deal in the first instance with service complaints, which go to the Legal Ombudsman, or query bills of cost which would be assessed at court.
