To intervene into the practice of Mr Azair Mahmood Alam including but not limited to his practice at Roundhay Solicitors on the following grounds:
Reasons/basis
- There is reason to suspect dishonesty on Mr Alam’s part in connection with his practice as a solicitor at the firm (paragraph 1(1)(a)(i) of Schedule 1 – Part I to the Solicitors Act 1974).
- Mr Alam has failed to comply with the SRA Principles 2019 which are rules made under section 31 of the Solicitors Act 1974 (as amended) (paragraph 1(1)(c) of Schedule 1- Part I to the Solicitors Act 1974).
