Warning: Emails misusing the name of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP

Emails have been sent misusing the name of CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP in relation to bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
What is the scam?
Emails have been sent to members of the public from individuals called 'Amy Davidson' and 'Marco Branco', claiming to be from ‘Atlas Law Firm’ in relation to bitcoin and cryptocurrency. The emails include attachments which say that complaints should be addressed to ‘atlaslawfirm.co.uk’, however when clicking on this website it redirects to the website of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below).
The emails were sent from ‘amydavidson@atlaslawoffice.net’ and ‘marcobranco@atlaslawoffice.net’.
The SRA does not authorise and regulate 'Atlas Law Firm'.
The SRA does not authorise and regulate ‘Atlas Law Group'.
The SRA does not regulate an individual by the name of Amy Davidson.
The SRA does not regulate an individual by the name of Marco Branco.
Any business or transaction through 'Atlas Law Firm' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Any business or transaction through 'Atlas Law Group' is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
Any business or transaction through the email domain 'amydavidson@atlaslawoffice.net' and 'marcobranco@atlaslawoffice.net' is not undertaken by an individual regulated by the SRA.
Is there a genuine firm or person?
The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP.
The genuine firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP have confirmed they do not have any connection with 'Atlas Law Firm'.

What should I do?

If you receive correspondence claiming to be from the above firm(s) or individual(s), or information of a similar nature to that described, you should conduct your own due diligence by checking the authenticity of the correspondence by contacting the law firm directly by reliable and established means. You can contact the SRA to find out if individuals or firms are regulated and authorised by the SRA and verify an individual's or firm's practising details. Other verification methods, such as checking public records (e.g. telephone directories and company records) may be required in other circumstances.
