'Blake Morgan Leeds Ltd' is falsely claiming to be a firm of solicitors.

What is the scam?

The SRA has been informed that 'Blake Morgan Leeds Ltd' is falsely claiming to be a firm of solicitors misusing the name of a genuine firm (see below). The address used is 'Carrwood Park Selby Road, Swillington Common, Leeds, LS15 4LG England'.

Any business or transaction through 'Blake Morgan Leeds Ltd' or 'Carrwood Park Selby Road, Swillington Common, Leeds, LS15 4LG England' is not undertaken by a genuine firm of solicitors authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called Blake Morgan LLP. Its head office address is New Kings Court, Tollgate, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, Hampshire SO53 3LG.

The genuine firm has confirmed that it does not have any connection to 'Blake Morgan Leeds Ltd' or the address referred to in the above alert.

What should I do?
