A website is operating and misusing the name of a genuine law firm.

What is the scam?

A website 'www.solomon-ross.co.uk' is operating misusing the name, telephone number, SRA number and head office address of a genuine firm of solicitors (see below).

The website provides the email address 'info@solomon-ross.co.uk'.

Any business or transaction through the above website and email address is not undertaken by any firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.

Is there a genuine firm or person?

The SRA authorises and regulates a genuine firm of solicitors called UK Law Solicitors Ltd, trading as Solomon Ross Solicitors (SRA number 668302). The firms genuine head office address is 261-271 Stratford Road, Sparkbrook, Birmingham, B11 1QS, the email domain is @solomonross.co.uk, telephone number 01214480420 and website www.solomonross.co.uk.

The genuine firm has confirmed that they have no connection to the website or the email address referred to in the alert above.

What should I do?
