A profile has been set up on the website 'www.fiverr.com' misusing the name of a genuine solicitor and purports to offer legal services.

What is the scam?

The SRA has been informed of a profile on the freelance services marketplace, Fiverr, with the name 'Tessa Hannah Mary Manisty'. The profile purports to be for an individual who is offering legal services and suggests that the individual practices specific areas of law. The profile has since been removed.

Any business or transactions through the profile 'Tessa Hannah Mary Manisty' on the website Fiverr is not undertaken by a firm or individual authorised and regulated by the SRA.
