This notification relates to a Decision to bring Disciplinary Proceedings before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. This is an independent Tribunal which will reach its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Solicitor. The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which are or include that, whilst remaining on the roll as a Solicitor:
- Sent an email to Mr G and Mr N on 27 December 2023 which contained misleading information and, by doing so, attempted to take unfair advantage of Mr G & Mr N;
- Between 7 June 2023 and 3 November 2023 pursued a course of conduct which amounted to stalking causing Ms A serious alarm or distress and resulted in his conviction for an offence contrary to Section 4A (1) (a) (b) (ii) and (5) of the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
