Ann Harrison
Ann Harrison was a partner in North West firm Stephensons Solicitors LLP for almost 30 years prior to her retirement in April 2020. She held the role of chairwoman for more than ten years, and the role of managing partner prior to that. Besides taking the lead on strategic issues, Ann was responsible for regulation across the firm, holding the positions of COLP, DPO and MLRO. Ann was the partner in charge of IT at Stephensons; she steered the firm through a multi-million-pound investment in new hardware and case management software. Ann is a former chair of the Law Society’s Law Management Section (LMS), having been involved with the section for around ten years. Ann is passionate about social mobility and career development at all levels. She is chair of the Board of Governors at Wigan & Leigh College of Further Education, and an active member of the Labour Party.
