This notification relates to a Decision to bring Disciplinary Proceedings before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which are or include that:-
- Between around 28 April 2023 and 3 May 2023, Ms Kotecha provided false and misleading information to her employer in respect of emails she sent to her private email addresses between around 6 March 2023 and 27 April 2023;
- Removed confidential and privileged information from her employer’s secure IT environment, without legitimate reason, and sent it to her personal email accounts.
The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
