Other information
On 14 January 2026, an Adjudicator decided to impose a section 43 order on Ms Anderson. Ms Anderson submitted a review request of the decision on 4 February 2026, which was dismissed by an Adjudication Panel on 30 March 2026. Ms Anderson submitted an appeal against the Adjudication Panel’s decision on 27 April 2026, which was dismissed by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal on 12 August 2026. Therefore, Ms Anderson was made subject to the order under section 43 of the Solicitors Act 1974 on 12 August 2026.
In accordance with section 43 of the Solicitors Act 1974, any solicitor wishing to employ or remunerate her in connection with their practise as a solicitor must obtain our approval. The SRA is satisfied that the above employment will not put public confidence in the administration of justice and the provision of legal services or the interests of clients at risk.
This decision does not confer authorisation on Ms Anderson. Ms Anderson is not authorised by virtue of their employer’s authorised status. If Morton Eaves Limited is carrying on any reserved legal activities, and Ms Anderson is involved in the provision of those reserved activities, they must be performed under proper direction, management, supervision and control, as set out in the SRA's effective supervision guidance.
