Reasons/basis
Mrs Rampersaud was employed as a conveyancing assistant by the licensed body, Guardian Solicitors, whose head office is at Salisbury House, 81 High Street, Potters Bar, Hertfordshire, EN6 5AS. Mrs Rampersaud began working for the firm in August 2014.
It was found that Mrs Rampersaud sent four emails on a client matter between 5 March 2019 and 8 August 2019 which misled the opponent solicitors about the progress of a conveyancing matter. It was found that her conduct was dishonest and breached SRA Principles 2 and 6.

Mrs Rampersaud was made subject to a disqualification order pursuant to section 99 of the Legal Services Act 2007. This order prevents her from holding any of the following roles in a licensed body:

- Head of Finance and Administration.
- A manager.
- An employee.
