This notification relates to a Decision to prosecute before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal. This is an independent Tribunal which will reach its own decision after considering all the evidence, including any evidence put forward by the Solicitor.
The Tribunal has certified that there is a case to answer in respect of allegations which are or include Mr Wamburu's failure to obtain prior authorisation for Jesse Douglas Solicitors Limited to provide reserved legal activities and failure to notify the SRA of a significant change in the financial circumstances of this company.
It is also alleged that he acted in breach of the SRA Accounts Rules by failing to keep accounting records and undertake reconciliations when they fell due and failed to cooperate with the SRA's investigation into his conduct.
The allegations are subject to a Hearing before the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal and are as yet unproven.
