The SRA appealed to the High Court (Administrative Court) against the Tribunal’s decision dated 1 August 2018. 

The Appeal was heard by Flaux L J and Carr J on 19 March 2019 and Judgment handed down on 2 April 2019. 

The Appeal was allowed. 

The Tribunal’s Order imposing a £30,000 fine was quashed and substituted with an order that Mr Good be struck off the Roll of Solicitors from 2 April 2019.
